ABOUT THE PRESIDENT

Deborah Elias, CSEP, CMP has been planning exceptional events since 1998. In that time, she has set herself apart from other event planners in Houston by becoming the only recipient of both the Certified Special Events Professional and Certified Meeting Planner designations.

Her company has been on the top independent event planners in Houston list as designated by the Houston Business Journal for the past four years and has won numerous awards for excellence in event planning, an achievement of which she's very proud.

In an effort to continuously improve her knowledge and skills in the industry, Deborah is associated with The American Marketing Association and is the Immediate Past-President of the Houston chapter of the International Special Events Society. She also sits on the coveted Special Events Magazine Advisory Board, and the Advisory Board for the Texas Meetings and Events Magazine.

Deborah has written numerous articles on event planning and has been a guest lecturer on special events at The Art Institute of Houston and The University of Houston Hilton College of Restaurant Management. She recently taught a classes on Non-Profit Fundraising and Brand Marketing at the Special Events Tradeshow in New Orleans. Her latest achievement is being asked to host a fabulous segment on Channel 55’s Wild About Houston Television show called, “The Party Girl".

She is a finalist for Event Planner of the Year thru Event Solutions Magazine.
