The Marriage License

The Bride and Groom need to appear at one of the following courthouses Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Bring the following with you:

  • A valid driver's license from any state or government issued I.D.
  • Check or cash for the application fee (<$100)

***There is a 72 hour waiting period. The ceremony may not take place until 72 hours from the time of issuance.

***The license is good for 30 days from the date of issuance and can be used anywhere in the state of Texas.
