The newly branded Crystal Icon Awards, held in Houston, Texas, on July 27, 2008, was an incredible evening honoring the best in Houston’s special event industry.  In its first year presented Academy award style, the evening was a hit with dancing and singing intermixed with the awards presentation. The evening served to showcase the talents of some of ISES Houston members, present the special events awards, honor a local event planning legend and also served as a chapter fundraiser.  The event was very stylish style, executed with the ease and had iconic fashion only Houston’s best could produce. 

Coordination Efforts included:
 

• coordinated all collateral material, including signage and event program
• coordinated event sponsorship and underwriting
• logo development and design
• overall event management of the event
• handled all logistical aspects of event
• budget development and maintenance
• vendor selection and contract negotiations
• writing of scripting for emcee and presenters
• on-site logistics and operations
